Big and bold, and bordering on the edge of cheesy without ever crossing the line, ABC's fantastic single "All of My Heart," off their brilliant debut album The Lexicon of Love, is a true master class in pop songwriting. The song is a rumination on a friendship that should have become more but never did. Martin Fry's vocals and wry delivery keep everything grounded even as the strings swirl out of control around him.
