From their first album since 1996, Ride showcase their signature sound (driving basslines, fuzzed out guitars, beautiful harmonies) and spike it with electronic flourishes on lead track "Lannoy Point." While Weather Diaries doesn't reach the highs of Nowhere or Going Blank Again, it is definitely a vast improvement over Tarantula.
