A dear friend of mine killed himself this week. It's haunted me because I wish I had at least been able to talk to him and hopefully make him see there is such beauty in this world despite all the pressures we have. The day I found out I heard this new song from Active Child that struck a chord with me.
"I dedicate my life to something richer
And all the things that come

And I know you'll be there

Keep your head up, hold your head up even though
It's a cruel world."
