Dark and sexy.
Wooooof.
Hey!
If you say a band is your favorite band, wouldn't you know that they broke up well over a month ago?
All the furor over FB Messenger is hysterical.
If your band is going to sound like Radiohead musically, could you at least find a vocalist that doesn't sound exactly like Thom Yorke?
It is sad when people strategically try to hurt their exes. Regardless of what happened, it is over, move on and stop dwelling on the past.
Love this.
I don't like the word "tummy."
This has been an exceptionally mild summer in Atlanta. If was like this every summer I would be a very happy man.
It is perfectly reasonable to shame someone at work who doesn't wash their hands after peeing.
I definitely need a red panda.
Two Dancers from Wild Beasts is such a brilliant album. It is the perfect crossroads between their earlier, more over-the-top work and the subtle elegance of their current music. While I love their last two records a lot, Two Dancers will always be my favorite.
Yes.
Best song title I have read lately: "Take the Blame, So I Don't Have To."
Roane County Circuit Judge Russell E. Simmons Jr., you sir are an idiot.
RIP Lauren Bacall, you were a Hollywood legend and one very classy lady.
RIP to Robin Williams as well. Although I can't claim to have been his biggest fan, he was very talented and will be missed.
Big pet peeve when I am the client site. I am in small office and some of the contract attorneys come in and basically sit on the desk and get all in my personal space. Stand in the doorway until I invite you in. Thanks.
It's interesting seeing guys before they embraced their bear side.
Exactly.
The former Murder Kroger is trying to be neighborhood re-branded as BeltLine Kroger. Ha Ha, good luck with that.
The HBO show The Leftovers is not an easy show to watch and/or love. It is relentlessly bleak, and in some scenes gratuitously violent to the point where I almost want to lose my lunch. For some reason though, I keep getting pulled into the show. Every week, the show goes off in a direction I never anticipated and keeps you concerned and intrigued by all these very flawed characters.
If you have to ask for another picture of someone to tell whether you are attracted to them or not, well, there you go.
I have alien cats. None of them are even the slightest bit interested in boxes or paper bags.
I know I have no reason to feel guilty, but I feel bad that two guys I introduced and who dated awhile have now broken up.
When people change their last name on FB for something like they are interviewing for a job, after awhile I tend to forget what their real last name is.
Your cute for the day.
Lyrics Rattling Around My Brain
"Sang soulless loud
Herding step on flesh
And nothing else
To well
To drown & drown
Sleight of reason
How they come
Cain in number
Alone
The crowd
Spurning step by state
Blame something else
Thirsting
Within without
Sighted
Weeded
How they run
Slain in number
Shake my head
Turn my face to the floor
Dead to respect
To respect to be born
Lest we forget who lay."
Talk Talk
"After The Flood"
"Those words are all remainders
Echos growing in the heart of twilight
They lay back laughing at naivety's star.
Awaken all those whispers,
The dusty shadow of a passing favour
I wouldn't say that you were ruthless or right
I couldn't see from so far.
Was I chasing after rainbows?
One thing for sure, you never answered when I called.
And I wiped away the water from my face
To look through the eyes of a stranger
For rumors in the wake of such a lonely crowd
Trading in my shelter for danger
I'm changing my name just as the sun goes down
In the eyes of the stranger
Can't tell the real from reflection
When all these faces look the same to me
In every city such a desolate dream.
Some days are strange to number
Some say the seventh sounds a little bit stranger
A year of Sundays seems to have drifted right by
I could have sworn in one evening.
And I'm not seized in desperation,
No steel reproaches on the table from before.
But I still can feel those splinters of ice
I look through the eyes of a stranger
For rumors in the wake of such a lonely crowd
Trading in my shelter for danger
I'm changing my name just as the sun goes down
In the eyes of the stranger
I must be chasing after rainbows
One thing for sure - you never answered when I called.
And I wiped away the water from my face
To look through the eyes of a stranger
For rumors in the wake of such a lonely crowd
Trading in my shelter for danger
I'm changing my name just as the sun goes down
Walking away like a stranger
For rumors in the wake of such a lonely crowd
Trading in my shelter for danger
I'm changing my name just as the sun goes down
In the eyes of the stranger."
