I would rather be given a truthful answer then left not knowing why something happened.

Sometimes you just have to listen to pop music.

What is up with the trend of having pictures of yourself with your toothbrush in your mouth? It's worse than having duck lips.

I have the biggest craving for some pecan pie.

LOL.

This past Sunday was a typically stunning spring day in Atlanta. The weather was pretty much perfect.

Last week was a pretty rough week, but we have finally gotten over the hump of it, and all is looking better.

I hate the word tummy.

Thug dogs.

I'm really looking forward to the new Death Cab for Cutie record.

For some reason I am waking up every morning at exactly 3:41 am.

Why does a bank have a SoundCloud account?

We attended a fetish party at the Heretic this past weekend called ManShaft. What surprised me about this party was how many women were in attendance. Was very odd.

I need this t-shirt.

There is only one way to hang toilet paper and that is over the roll, not under the roll.

I'm beginning to forget what a vacation is like.

I love how the show Looking always ends on a upbeat, positive note.

I don't have my phone on me today, and it feels incredibly weird.

I'm really enjoying introducing Andrew to the world of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Your cute for the day.

Lyrics Rattling Around My Brain

"There's a boy in a car
At the top of a hill
Looking down at LA
He's so close to the stars
And the fires that start
That he feels far away
He thinks that there's something
Something that he lost
He thinks there is love
He knows there is love
Holding him back
Are the ghosts of embarrassing memories
It's in the air
It's been holding me back
I can't live this way

Hey, hold on to me
Don't say it's the end of me
I'm right here, I'm ready
I need this love.
Hey, hold on to me
Don't say it's the end of me
I'm right here, I'm ready
I need this love."

Twin Shadow
"I'm Ready"

"Open the window, all the air, oh the air it's falling out
Eyes vacuum up light, sound gets trapped by the mouth
We'll deal with the remainder when the dents, the dents get hammered out
Then we'll travel through time

The world's an inventor with its work crawling, running, squirming round
Trees drop colorful fruits directly into our mouth
The world's an inventor, we're the dirtiest thing it's thought about,
And we really don't mind

We'll probably never get there, bring your sight seer school teachers down
It's a water color weekend, all the trees are turning colors now
We'll probably never get there, bring your candy taster time wasters around
And we'll fuck with their minds

The world composes with its shirt tails wrinkled hanging out
Bang us together see what sort of sounds we make right now
The world plays music playing skin on teeth inside of a mouth
What sort of sounds? What lovely sounds come about?

We greased all the ropes, we'll throw you a line
We're gonna break these boulders, we're gonna precede time
We greased all the ropes, we'll throw you a line
We're gonna break these boulders, we're gonna travel time."

Modest Mouse
"The Ground Walks, With Time in a Box"

Appealing Things

George's hamburgers
Braids' new record Deep in the Iris
Getting some closure
Whole brain thinking
Neil Gaiman's American Gods

Annoying Things

Having to do things I don't want to do
Being a combination introvert/extrovert
Words like paradigm and synergy
People who use the word awe when they mean awww
Dolce & Gabbana
