Lost Girls - "Ruins"

Experimental producer Jenny Hval teamed up two years ago with multi-instrumentalist Håvard Volden to form the duo Lost Girls and released the album Menneskekollektivet. Now they have released the one-off single "Ruins" which is propelled by lush drum programming, a meaty, melodic bass line, celestial synths, and Hval's emotive vocals.

From her 80s themed concept album Lost Girls, Bat for Lashes previews the record with the sweeping track "The Hunger," which is presumably named after the cult 80s film.
