Intense, experimental punk/hip-hop. Their live shows are supposed to be off the chain.

Coachella 2012 Countdown: 6 Days! Metronomy - "The Look"

Quirky English synth/guitar pop. This band puts on a highly energetic, fun show. Definitely check them out if you get the chance.

Coachella 2012 Countdown: 7 Days! The Weeknd - "Initiation"

The Weeknd are a, if not THE, must see for me at the festival.

Coachella 2012 Countdown: 8 Days! Calvin Harris - "I'm Not Alone"

Kurt will likely roll his eyes at me posting this song, but I do like it.

Coachella 2012 Countdown: 9 Days! WU LYF - "Heavy Pop"

Definitely a must see for me. I want the singer's hair.

Coachella 2012 Countdown: 10 Days! Wild Beasts - "Albatross"

My definite must-see of the festival. Their live show is sublime.

I'm really excited to catch Nero at this year's festival.

Coachella 2012 Countdown: 12 Days! Abe Vigoda - "Throwing Shade"

Abe Vigoda was just announced for Friday's lineup. Hadn't heard much about them, but am really enjoying their latest album. It has a very dark, gothy vibe akin to the Cure and Cold Cave.

Coachella 2012 Countdown: 13 Days! We Were Promised Jetpacks - "Quiet Little Voices"

Can't wait to see these guys tonight in Atlanta and at Coachella.

Coachella 2012 Countdown: 16 Days! The Horrors - "Sheena Is A Parasite"

I am thrilled to finally see The Horrors, as they are one of my favorite bands that I have yet to see live. Although they have changed direction considerably since their first album, I do love this song. And the video, directed by Chris Cunningham, is pretty brilliant.
