Interpol's last album Marauder was strangely hesitant and restrained and kept me at arm's length. On the eve of their current tour, the release a non-album cut that brings back memories of the Interpol of old: moody, dangerous, on the edge of being sloppy but with a fire that perks your ears up. I am hoping this is a trend that continues.
