The centerpiece to Half Waif's new record Lavender, "Silt" focuses on Nandi Rose Plunkett's expressive voice that sits somewhere between Kate Bush's forceful punch and St. Vincent's wry cynicism. It's a stunning song from one of my favorite records this year.
