I am so very excited to hear Cut/Copy's upcoming album Freeze, Melt. "Cold Water" is a lovely mid-tempo electro-house track that pairs gorgeous vocals and an amazing build of liquidy synths and a steady backbeat. It's heaven.

Jessie Ware - "What's Your Pleasure?"

I will not deny that the new Lady Gaga album has its fair share of infectious tracks, however, the new Jessie Ware album is what we really need this summer of world bizarreness. Her new record is simply fantastic escapism and on this, the title track, she is channeling Donna Summer disco fabulousness.

Amnesia Scanner ft. Lalita - "AS Acá"

Finnish duo Amnesia Scanner have just released their new record Tearless, which is their self-explained "breakup album from the planet." They have teamed up with Peruvian singer Lalita on the intense track "AS Acá" which pairs thunderous industrial mayhem with Lalita's Björk meets Rosalía vocals. The video is pretty intense as well.

TRACES - "Silver Lines"

TRACES, a.k.a. Tim Dehnert, has one of those voices that just grabs you the first time you hear it; soulful with a lovely rough edge to it. From his upcoming debut album 6 HRS, "Silver Lines" frames his voice with swooning synths, skeletal guitar, and a booming beat.

Darkstar - "Text"

From their intriguing new album Civic Jams, electronic duo Darkstar delve into isolation and lack of communication which comes to the forefront on new single "Text."

Annie - "American Cars"

Must be a good week for Norwegian pop stars. We now have the return of Scandi-pop enchantress Annie. This is her first new music since 2015 and from her first album in over 11 years Dark Hearts. Our first taste is "American Cars," a slow-building, throbbing electro number that is inspired by J.G. Ballard's Crash, made into a movie by David Cronenberg.

Arca - "Time"

From her upcoming album KiCk i, Arca previews it with the beautiful synth swells of "Time." The video is interesting, to say the least.

SASSY 009 - "Ghost Town"

Norwegian producer SASSY 009 has released this single for Spotify Sessions that is a dreamy, atmospheric song with a sinuous drum and bass beat and lots of ambient synth textures.

Cut/Copy - "Love Is All We Share (Patrick Holland Remix)"

Earlier this spring, Cut/Copy released their sublime single "Love Is All We Share," which was a slow-building track that was crying out for a dance remix. Patrick Holland takes a stab at it and transforms what was a contemplative song and amps it up with touches of rave, techno, trance, and acid house. Would love to experience this on a dance floor.

Dua Lipa - "Break My Heart (Solardo Remix)"

It's too bad that going out clubbing this summer is going to be put mostly on hold because Solardo's remix of this Dua Lipa track is pretty awesome. He takes a slinky disco tune and amps it up with what almost sounds like a speeded-up sample of New Order's "True Faith" drum programming. It really kicks the track into high gear.

Bearcubs - "Diversions"

Berlin via London electronic musician Bearcubs has just released his sophomore album Early Hours. It's full of his usual immaculate productions. "Diversions" has a languid, underwater feel to it, with hints of Caribbean percussion.

Muzz - "Everything Like It Used To Be"

Muzz, the indie-rock supergroup formed by Paul Banks of Interpol, Matt Barrick of The Walkmen, and Josh Kaufman of Bonny Light Horseman have just released their debut self-titled record. It is a quite beautiful collection of pastoral rock and roll. "Everything Like It Used To Be" uses a shuffling drum beat, forlorn horns, and jangly guitars to accent Banks' haunting vocals.

Brendan Eder Ensemble - "#20 (Lichen) (Aphex Twin Cover)"

In these crazy times, sometimes you need to step back for a moment and find some beauty in the world to ground you. The Brendan Eder Ensemble takes a classical music approach to Aphex Twin's ambient classic. It's a wondrous cover that soothes the soul.

Kathleen Frances - "Define"

Up and coming Bristol singer/producer Kathleen Frances is making waves with her stunning vocals and atmospheric music. "Define" is a striking ballad that really stands out with a powerful, smokey vocal turn.

Bob Mould - "American Crisis"

From his upcoming new record Blue Hearts, Bob Mould unleashes some major fury in this blistering protest song.

Run The Jewels - "goonies vs. E.T."

Run The Jewels (a.k.a Killer Mike and EL-P) surprise dropped their new record RTJ4 yesterday, and it is music for these times. "goonies vs. E.T." is a jeep-rattling track that darkly comments on how our society has gone to shit.

Amber Mark - "Heart-Shaped Box (Nirvana Cover)"

R&B star Amber Mark releases her soulful take on the Nirvana classic. Although it is a complete re-imagining of the song, Mark keeps focused on the awesome melody so you always know it's the Nirvana song.

Moaning - "Connect The Dots"

Post-punk/dream pop trio Moaning return with their fantastic second album Uneasy Laughter. "Connect the Dots" is a gorgeous, dreamy track about how hard it is sometimes to ask for help.

Lady Gaga - "Replay"

Lady Gaga's new record Chromatica is a return to her dance floor roots and is a surprisingly fun record. I am really loving the track "Replay" which has a great disco beat and recalls for me the pleasures of Madonna's "Deeper and Deeper."
