Jam of the Day: Yves Tumor - "Noid"
Newly signed to Warp Records, experimental artist Yves Tumor releases the audacious electronic pop single "Noid." Over thick beats, swirling strings, and a funky bass line, Tumor's voice is both warm and inviting but also dangerous and paranoid. It's a thrillingly good track.

Jam of the Day: Oneohtrix Point Never - "Monody"
Composed of tracks that did not make it to his last album Age Of, The Station EP comprises four vastly different styles that didn't really fit within the conceptual sprawl of his long form album. "Monody" comes closest to being of the right mindset, with its subtle use of classical elements, however, it would easily have fit within the industrial rave textures of his previous record Garden of Delete. It's a fascinating, densely programmed work that is some of his best work. You can listen to it here on Spotify.

Jam of the Day: DRAMA - "Fuck Dave"
While we anxiously await the teased new music from Sade, we can luxuriate in the smooth R&B/electronic/jazzy stylings of DRAMA, the collaboration between Chicago singer Via Rosa and producer Na’el Shehade. "Fuck Dave" is an elegant, sensuous track that recounts a relationship that is obviously lacking. It comes off their wonderful debut album Gallows.

Jam of the Day: Rén with the Mane - "Changes"
The Brooklyn based singer knocks it out of the park with this sparkling pop track about moving on from a breakup. It's buoyed by shimmering guitars, intricate drum programming, and Rén's lovely voice which is like a huskier Sarah Cracknell of Saint Etienne.

Jam of the Day: The Presets ft. The DMAs - "Are You Here?"
Booming, big-beat dance track from The Presets featuring vocals from Australian rock band The DMAs. It sounds like the amazing collaborations The Chemical Brothers used to do with Noel Gallagher back in the 90s. It's off The Presets' new record Hi Viz.

Jam of the Day: SALES - "Rainy Day Loop"
From Orlando dream pop duo SALES' beautiful new record Forever & Ever, "Rainy Day Loop" is the quiet, dreamy closing track. I love the languid guitar lines, crisp drum programming, and Lauren Morgan's charming vocals.

Beautiful synthpop from Zurich based Odd Beholder, a project from musician Daniela Weinmann. I love the dreamy, swooning keyboards and achingly forlorn vocals.

Jam of the Day: TRACES - "Clouds"
Tim Dehnert, who records under the name TRACES, has released his gorgeous new EP Median. "Clouds" is a standout piano ballad that showcases his wonderfully evocative voice, that sounds like a huskier George Michael.

Jam of the Day: Darkstar - "Since There's Only You"
Darkstar provide a master class in building a hypnotic electronic world. Slowly adding layers and layers to the track "Since There's Only You," the duo draw you in with subtle gestures until you find yourself in a swirling mix of synth strings, chanted vocals, and dense percussion. You can listen to it here on Spotify.

Jam of the Day: Calvin Harris ft. Dua Lipa - "One Kiss (Oliver Heldens Remix)"
I am on vacation today for a week and am pretty excited about it, so I wanted to leave on a high note. I really am digging this Oliver Heldens' remix of this Calvin Harris/Dua Lipa collaboration. Enjoy it as much as I do!

Jam of the Day: Them Are Us Too - "No One"
The world lost an incredible talent when musician Cash Askew was killed in the Ghost Ship fire in Oakland. Her best friend and bandmate Kennedy Ashlyn went back into the studio and finished six tracks to honor her memory and legacy. From that record, Amends, comes this dark and lush track "No One," that pulsates with dark beats, swirling synths, icy guitars, and Ashlyn's almost operatic vocals. It is a fitting tribute to someone taken from us far too soon.
