Jam of the Day: Dutch Uncles - "Oh Yeah (Bossy Love Remix)"

The original version of "Oh Yeah" from British art-popsters Dutch Uncles sounds a bit like a goof off of a J. Geils Band single. It's fun in its own right, however, this remix by Bossy Love, adds a Cupid & Psyche '85 Scritti Politti sheen to it, with a killer rap from Amandah of Bossy Love. You can hear it here on Spotify.

You can hear the original version here:

Jam of the Day: Sleigh Bells - "And Saints"

From their upcoming mini-album Kid Kruschev, Sleigh Bells throw a bit of a curve ball with "And Saints." The gorgeous synths pile on top of one another as you expect Derek Miller's wall of guitars to take over. Whether or not they do, you will have to listen and find out.

Co-produced by Michael Stipe and BOOTS, the new single from Fischerspooner is a decidedly urbane and modern track, full of start and stop rhythms, warm and rushing synths, and textured vocals. Its cool, sexual allure is palpable.
