Jam of the Day: Gangly - "Whole Again"

Icelandic supergroup Gangly is made up of Sin Fang’s Sindri Már Sigfússon, Oyama’s Úlfur Alexander Einarsson, and Jófríður Ákadóttir. This spectral track is hauntingly beautiful.

Jam of the Day: Rita Ora - "Your Song"

The summer jams just keep coming. I really love this Rita Ora track, which is just a beautifully done pop song with an uplifting message. Enjoy!

Jam of the Day: Carly Rae Jepsen - "Cut to the Feeling"

Along with Selena Gomez' new single "Bad Liar," Carly Rae Jepsen's new song "Cut to the Feeling" is vying for summer jam of the year. It's ridiculously catchy.

Jam of the Day: Slowdive - "Slomo"

Their new, self-titled album has been on endless repeats for weeks. You will likely not find a more lovely track than album opener "Slomo." It is the personification of sublime beauty.

"Give me your love, it's a curious love
Give me your heart, it's a curious thing."

Jam of the Day: Zola Blood - "The Only Thing"

I'm eagerly anticipating Zola Blood's debut full length, Infinite Games, which drops tomorrow. If you are a fan of elegant, art-pop such as Wild Beasts, Clock Opera, and Metronomy, you will definite find much to love. "The Only Thing" is a sweeping, synth-drenched track that gradually builds to a satisfying emotional conclusion.

Jam of the Day: Cigarettes After Sex - "Each Time You Fall In Love"

My obsession with this band has reached DEFCON Level One. So dreamy and languid, as if they exist solely to be featured in the new incarnation of Twin Peaks.

Jam of the Day: ATTLAS - "Further"

Everyone knows how much music means to me. That such a horrific act of violence occurred at a concert chills me to the bone. My thoughts go out to the families and friends of the victims in Manchester. Today's song is a simple, yet gorgeous track that warms my heart and hopefully yours. Peace.

Jam of the Day: Phoenix - "Ti Amo"

This explosive dance track from Phoenix is fast becoming my summer jam. Really excited for their new record coming next month.

Jam of the Day: Selena Gomez - "Bad Liar"

Selena Gomez and the sampled bassline from Talking Heads' classic "Psycho Killer," what is not to love. It even has the approval of David Byrne. It's a super cool pop track that is sure to be a massive hit.

Jam of the Day: Grizzly Bear - "Mourning Sound"

The second song to be released from Grizzly Bear's upcoming record Painted Ruins, "Mourning Sound" is probably their most straightforward track to date. A driving beat and chugging guitars propel the song forward, punctuated by wonky synths and the dueling vocals of Ed Droste and Daniel Rossen.

Jam of the Day: Beacon - "Marion"

The spectral strains of a hammer dulcimer highlight this haunting track from electronic duo Beacon.

Jam of the Day: Elohim - "Skinny Legs"

Elohim's self-titled debut album last year was a perfectly good electro-pop album, but was not truly striking. Her new single, the blisteringly dark track "Skinny Legs" shows Elohim finding her own voice, sounding like the love child of Nitzer Ebb, Portishead, and Crystal Castles.

Jam of the Day: Little Cub - "Hypnotize"

Pssst! I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Little Cub's debut album Still Life is one of the best records of the year. It was near impossible to put just one of their tracks down here, so you will likely see a few more over the coming months. "Hypnotize" is a good entry point on the record, throwing down a fierce groove as synthesizers swirl around. The best description of the band's is that they sound like the intersection where Blur, Pulp, Wild Beasts, and Pet Shop Boys all meet. Please check them out.

Jam of the Day: Exhibitionist - "Hands"

This debut single from Australian musician Exhibitionist, a.k.a. Kirsty Tickle, is a gorgeously moody downtempo track.

LCD Soundsystem come roaring back to life with with this blistering track full of signature LCD sounds: chugging bassline, sparkling synths, wailing guitars, and James Murphy's wry vocals.

Jam of the Day: Sylvan Esso - "Just Dancing"

From Sylvan Esso's practically perfect second record What Now, "Just Dancing" is one of many amazing dance tracks. I really can't get enough of this record, and I highly recommend you search out its charms.

Jam of the Day: Wy - "Bathrooms"

I can't get enough of this moody track from Swedish duo Wy. I guess the best way I can describe this track is that is as if Cocteau Twins and Jesus and Mary Chain got into an accident with Siouxsie Sioux. It's pretty darn awesome.

Jam of the Day: Cathedrals - "Try to Fight"

Fans of Chvrches will really dig this sparkling, synth driven number from San Francisco duo Cathedrals.

Fuck Mondays. Let's kick this off with some blistering post-punk from IDLES.
